Cafe de Cupping: Rare Espresso Bar Meets Queens, NY

I've finally found a cozy café.
Scroll to embrace awesomeness:

Whenever I've tasted coffee, especially espresso, I've secretly detested the bitter after-taste. This espresso, despite a bit bitter, was something completely different. You can taste the quality, and the smell is sweet. The brew is different, and in my opinion, far better than Starbucks.

I ordered a hazelnut affogato. The gelato had a creamy texture, and the topping (it was either nuts or something crunchy that reminded me of Ferrero Rocher). In the middle was a surprise chocolate truffle. The truffle, plus the espresso and gelato, made the dessert so different. The espresso was sweet, but the bitterness was in balance. For anyone who hasn't tried an affogato before, this is a must try.

On to the cappuccino: light, airy, and something you can slurp within minutes. It wasn't overly hot, which is something I appreciate, as you can't taste a cappuccino with a burned tongue (been there, done that).

For those who want to explore this place, head on over in a week-- when the café changes its menu.
The newest additions will be waffles, brownies with and without ice cream, other pastries, and paninis.

P.S: I'm really proud of the fact that they write "Indian Chai" instead of "Chai Tea Latte" on the menu.
Accuracy is better than precision.
